What it does
- Adds pay by bank to your existing checkout, beside your card payments
- Takes the customer straight to choosing their bank when they place the order
- Offers your customers a discount for paying by bank, if you switch it on
- Invoices the order and moves it to Processing when the payment succeeds
- Puts the basket back when a customer returns from a cancelled payment
- Cancels the payment link when you cancel the order
- Lists what was bought on your customer's receipt
What it does not do
- Take card payments. Keep your card payment method alongside it
- Refunds from a Magento credit memo. Those are made in BriizPay
- Hyva Checkout or other replacement checkouts
- Stores priced in anything but pounds

Common questions
Does BriizPay replace my card payments in Magento?
No. BriizPay adds pay by bank next to the card payment method you already use. Your customer picks whichever they prefer at checkout, and you keep taking cards exactly as you do now.
Which versions of Magento does it work with?
Magento Open Source and Adobe Commerce 2.4, on PHP 8.1 to 8.4, with Magento's standard checkout. Stores using Hyva Checkout or another replacement checkout need a payment renderer for that checkout, so talk to us first.
What does my customer see?
Pay by bank as a payment method at checkout. When they place the order they go straight to choosing their bank, approve the payment, and come back to your order success page.
When does the order get marked paid?
When BriizPay tells your store the payment succeeded, normally within a second or two of the customer approving it. The module checks the amount, creates the invoice and moves the order to Processing. It does not wait for the customer to come back, so the order still completes if they close the tab.
What happens to orders that are not paid?
They stay as Pending Payment. If the customer cancels the payment and comes back to your store, the order is cancelled and their basket is put back. When an order is cancelled, by you or by Magento's Pending Payment Order Lifetime, the module cancels the payment link too, so it cannot be paid later by mistake.
Do I need a developer to install it?
You need someone with command line access to your store, the same as for any Magento module. It is a few standard commands and then settings in the admin. Whoever looks after your store will have done it many times.
