PAY BY BANK FOR INVOICES

Save time and moneyon every invoice.

Taking a card costs you up to 1.5% + 20p of the invoice. Asking for a bank transfer costs you the chase: a sort code, an account number and a reference your customer has to copy by hand, and any of them can be wrong.

BriizPay sends one link with the amount and your reference already on it.

  • Flat plan fees, not a percentage of every invoice
  • One link for an invoice, a deposit or a balance
  • See it paid as soon as the bank confirms

Why invoices get chased

A bank transfer asks your customer to copy your account details and type a reference. Some pay the wrong amount, some forget the reference, and you find out when you check the statement.

INVOICE WITH BANK DETAILS
  • Customer copies a sort code and account number
  • A reference typed from memory, or not at all
  • You check the statement to see who paid
  • Card over the phone for anyone who will not transfer
INVOICE WITH A BRIIZPAY LINK
  • Customer taps the link and chooses their bank
  • The amount and your business name are already filled in
  • The payment shows as paid against the link you sent
  • No card numbers to take or store

What you get

The exact amount, every time

The amount is fixed in the link, so there are no short payments, no mistyped account numbers and no transfers to chase for the last few pounds.

Paid straight to your bank

Money moves bank to bank over Faster Payments, usually within seconds of your customer approving it, weekends included.

Know which invoice was paid

Each payment is tied to the link you sent, so you can see which invoice was paid without reading references off a bank statement.

No card details over the phone

Stop taking card numbers for large invoices. Your customer approves the payment in their own banking app with the checks their bank already uses.

Deposits and balances too

Send one link for the deposit to secure a booking or an order, and another for the balance when the work is done.

Receipts without the admin

Your customer can have an e-receipt emailed when they pay, and you keep the record in your dashboard.

Who uses it

Common questions

Do I need accounting software that works with BriizPay?

No. A BriizPay link is a web address, so it goes into an invoice email, a PDF, a reminder or a text from whatever you use today. There is no accounting integration to set up.

What does it cost?

Payment links are part of every plan. Free charges £0.60 a payment, and Starter and Growth include 100 and 250 payments a month, then £0.49 and £0.39 each. Payments over £5,000 carry an additional 0.1%, the large-payment charge from our banking provider passed on at cost. If you invoice large amounts or at volume, talk to us about pricing.

How long does a payment link stay open?

It depends on your plan, and the plans on our pricing page show how long each keeps a link open. A link can also be cancelled at any time, so an invoice paid another way cannot be paid twice.

Is there a limit on how much an invoice can be?

Each plan has a maximum payment, and your customer's bank may set its own daily limit. If your invoices are large, tell us the typical amount and we will confirm what fits.

Can my customer pay part of the invoice?

Each link is for a fixed amount. To take an invoice in stages, send a link for each part: a deposit now and the balance later.

Can law firms, estate agents and dealers use it?

Yes, and they are among the businesses it suits best. Client money, property payments and large vehicle deposits come with extra requirements, so talk to us before you start and we will review your case, limits and onboarding.
