Is BriizPay secure?
Yes. Payments are initiated through UK Open Banking by an FCA-authorised payment initiation provider, under PSD2. BriizPay never sees or stores your customer's banking credentials: they approve every payment inside their own banking app, using the security checks their bank already applies to them.
No card details are handled anywhere in the flow, by you or by us, so there is no card data to lose.
Money moves directly between your customer's bank and yours over Faster Payments. BriizPay does not hold merchant funds at any point.
Each payment is approved individually for a specific amount to a specific account. Your customer sees exactly what they are paying and to whom before they confirm.
